The task today.

The task today is to change one of our images into a 3D image using photoshop. these are the images i am going to use -

Researching 3D images

 to research 3d images we were asked to go onto a website called behance then typed in frozen in time, then we had to look through some 3D glasses to see the full effect.Stereoscopy creates the illusion of three-dimensional depth from images on a two-dimensional plane. Human vision uses several cues to determine relative depths in a perceived scene. Lenticular images (3D / Motion without Glasses) are promotional products whose images are in 3-D, or change from one image to another, or else move as the viewer sees it from different angles.

Overall i think i liked the spin one, i think it gave great effect to the image and made it look different and not just a boring image. i think i would use this on my images however it would depend which image. i also liked the one white the black around the outside. i would use this in many of my images as it makes it really effective.

 First we uploaded a image onto photoshop, we select the marque tool and drag the circle around the image like to the right.

 Then we clicked select, modify and feathered it, this makes it not as sharp, makes it soft.

 set the feather selection to 150  pixels so it doesnt look sharp. 

 Then we clicked on blur, Radial Blue and we clicked zoon and changed the amount to 80. this made the image so the outside was zoomed in. like     image 1 to the right. The center part of the image is clear and the outside is blurry. this is what we wanted.

Then we did all the first steps again but to a different picture so we kept going over it so we remebered, but instead of clicking zoom we clicked spin, we kept the amount the same (80)  this made the outside blurry like image 2.

Then the third time we did it all again, to a different picture, again to gather more practise, then we changed the hue and satuation instead, this made the outside either dark or light, whichever way on the lightness scale you choose. i Chose dark. so it turns out like my image below.

i like this image of the eye as it makes it stand out more and more eye-catching. Its different and makes it look better then just anormal eye colour.

Most celebrities edit there images on photoshop and most of them get edited before they are published to make them look better. This one just looks like its been air brushed, thats what most of them do, just airbrush them to get rid of wrinkles and shines.

This image is just simply a image edited for fun, for something different, i like how they have done it so the eye is looking towards us. It makes it look weird. 

Introduction Part 2

This is part 2 of our image development assignment. For this assignment we have 6 weeks to complete the whole thing. We have to produce a final image of either a famous photographer or one of our own.  We can choose whichever theme we wish to use to complete this.
For this assignment we are working on blogger instead of in sketchbooks, we have to research a min of three photographers/artists, test idea's, experiment etc...

Evaluation

For this project we had to make a fantasy landscape. By doing this i took landscapes and i added images into the landscape. I added a landscape on top of a landscape to make it look like a bridge is in the landscape. I added my grandad and his dog, a boat, some birds sitting on the bridge, and the bridge and water. To start with i just thought ild add the bridge but as i got going, i thought to add different things to make it look better. I added things, then deleted them and added different things because i didnt like them.
By making my image, i have used photoshop and i have used Vignetting - you have to add a new layer, draw a border around it by using the brush tool, then go around the image and hold down the shift key as you drag across. Then filter, blur, gaussian blur, we also used 'adding colour' you have to add a new layer, pick colour, then 'image- mode- rgb. Then zoom in and when coloured in go to the layers box and change it to overlay. 'Cloning' is another thing we used this is the clone stamp tool select the alt key, select the area you are copying from, select where you go from, let go and then paste it on. Then 'Transforming' Double click on the background layer and press ok - edit - transform - warp. This tidys up the image.
The problems i came across was that the image didnt look to real, by fixing this i added a shadow, or i blured the image a little bit.
i have researched two artists which were 'John Gotto' and 'Jeff Wall' these artists relate to my work as they also do fantsasy images, and add things into there image to make it look realistic or non realistic.
i am pretty pleased with my final image as i like the things i have placed in it. i like how it doesnt look too non realistic and i really like how the bridge and water fits in well with the image, it almost looks like it was already there. if i was to do this again, i would pick a new lanscape and actually takethe images of objects i knew i was gonna placeinto it to make it look better, because on this one i just placed random images i had already taken for a different project and put them into it. but overall i am pleased with my image.

layering

 to layering up images, you have to add a new background into the background there is. First you have to erase the bacground on your original image. then I added a new sky to my portrait, and i dragged a background image onto it, then i pressed overlay so it goes into the background.

 i used the magic tool to get rid of the background to add another one onto it.
