when you save a photo in photo shop you have to go to 'file', 'save as' then there is different things you could save your picture into, such as photoshop, jpg and Tiff.
photoshop - it is a large file size and it remembers all information, doesn't compress a image, but the bad size is you can only open it on certain computers which have photoshop.
Jpg - its fine for saving experimental images but compresses your images each time, so you loose a little bit of quality.
Tiff - you save your final images on, open it on any computer, although it takes up alot of memory space.

how to change a file name
By changing a file name you have to click on the folder you want to change the name of, then you have to hold ctrl down and click on the folder, then you have to click 'get info' then where it says 'name & extension' you type in the name you would like to save your folder as, then click enter and your folder has been saved.

by making a contact sheet you have too open 'bridge', you open your images and choose which ones you want, then you click output and change it to 4*5, like above, then press preview, then save and you have your contact sheet.
